After researching regarding Van Gogh's Self Portrait With Bandaged Ear , I have found various re-mediation of the artwork. Some were based on famous animation characters while some others used it as a pun to promote their product and some re-draws it into another style of drawing. Every re-mediation is made with their own concept in mind.
Re-mediation
The picture above shows an animation character called Spongebob Squarepants whereas he is reproducing the same facial expression though the atmosphere of the artwork seems very comedic and nostalgic.
The picture above shows the character of an animation called Minions, the artwork had attracted the peoples interest as it shows how the personality and antics that is possibly done by the Minions themselves.
The picture above shows that Van Gogh is trying to glue his ear back on so that he would be able to wear the headphones in order to listen to his favorite music. It does seem very comedic as they had used Van Gogh's situation to promote their own product.
The picture above show the portrait of Vincent Van Skelly in which was created by Marie Marfia, who is a fine art artist. The portrait is part of her Old (Dead) Masters series in which is where she produces famous works of art in a skeleton style.
